Welfleet, MA — On the dunes of Cahoon Hollow Beach in Wellfleet, Cape Cod, a warm weather tradition is in full swing.

For the last 25 summers, the Incredible Casuals have been rocking the Beachcomber Restaurant every single Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

Their audience is more family than fandom, spanning generations and dancing themselves dizzy by the light of neon beer signs and the afternoon sun still shining through the windows.

Over the years band members have come and gone and everyone has gotten older. But the more things change with the Casuals, as they’re known, the more they stay the same, and then change back again.

Sort of. WBUR’s Sean Cole explains.
