Agencies Prepare for the Arrival of Hurricane Victims

Massachusetts is preparing to receive people made homeless by hurricane Katrina as early as Tuesday.

Governor Mitt Romney has put together a financial meeting with the legislature this morning to appropriate money for the relief effort.

The evacuees will be housed at Camp Edwards, on the Massachusetts military reservation, on Cape Cod.

This morning, a team from the Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and Massport is headed for Otis Air National Guard base, where the evacuees will arrive.
