Bruins Attendance Down as New Season Begins

The Boston Bruins return to regular season play Wednesday night for the first time in more than a year.

The team, of course, spent the last year on hiatus after a labor dispute between the players union and the National Hockey League led to the cancellation of the entire 2004-2005 hockey season.

Attendance at Bruin's games was already down before the lockout, and now team and league officials are wondering if the dispute has pushed fans even further away.

For more, Bob Oakes speaks with Boston Business Journal reporter Craig Douglas who's covering the story.

This program aired on October 5, 2005. The audio for this program is not available.
