Study Examines Expanding Healthcare

In Boston Friday morning, House Speaker Sal DiMasi will unveil his plan to expand access to healthcare in Massachusetts. He'll detail it at a summit of lawmakers and healthcare leaders gathered for the release of the final part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts Foundation's "Roadmap to Coverage."

The roadmap is lawmakers main source of non-partisan research into the issue.

Phase one assessed key problems, and phase two examined what it would take to fix things. The third report, out today, focuses on proposals for implementing reform.
