Massachusetts Marks 9/11
BOSTON, Mass. — The sixth anniversary of 9/11 falls on the same weekday as the terror attacks that claimed some 3,000 lives in 2001.
It was the most significant event in Americans’ lives, according to a Zogby poll released yesterday, especially among people on the east coast.
In Massachusetts, there will many events today to mark the anniversary and to commemorate the victims…from the Boston Garden to the Statehouse. WBUR’s Sarah Bush reports.
