Investigation into "T" Crash

The D branch of the Green Line remains closed between Newton Highlands and Riverside.

The MBTA will run buses between the stations until the removal of wreckage from a fatal collision between two trolleys on Wednesday. One of the T drivers — Terrese Edmonds — died in the crash, and more than a dozen passengers were injured.

On Friday, federal officials plan to start interviewing witnesses to the collision. They'll investigate reports the driver was talking on her cell phone at the time of the incident. WBUR's Fred Thys has more on the story.
