Kerry-Beatty Debate Gets Testy

All eyes may be on the presidential race, with the vote just two weeks away from today. But, on election day, Massachusetts voters will also be picking a US senator.

The Democratic incumbent John Kerry squared off against his Republican challenger, Jeff Beatty last night, in a live debate televised on New England Cable News.

The economy, income tax, health care, and Iraq...among other issues...were all on the table. WBUR's Meghna Chakrabarti was there and has this report.
