Holiday Shows Play Leading Role
BOSTON, Mass. — It’s a recurring theme this time of year: Ebenezer Scrooge pinches his pennies and the Sugar Plum Fairy dances for little Clara and the Prince.
“A Christmas Carol” and “The Nutcracker” are theatrical traditions, and in Boston they generate a disproportionate amount of overall annual revenue for Boston’s stages.
