I work as a teaching assistant at an elementary school where we only have a six hour school day. Come on... with lunch, recess and special we are only able keep the kids attention on school work for 4 hours? Why not extend the school day by an hour or hour and a half instead of having the school year go until July! I think this 180 day rule is ridiculous.
