There’s been quite a flurry of activity in recent days among the Democrats vying to replace the late Sen. Edward Kennedy.

The week started with a dispute over the death penalty. It continued with a race to lock up union support. And it closes with signs of a split in the Kennedy family over endorsements.

    How many Kennedys are supporting Coakley? They cannot unseat her in 2012 or get an open congressional seat to seek when she wins in 2010. Not much in her win for them is there?
