This is a great project that says something about the hidden community of Chinatown. I live in Chinatown in a building full of artists, musicians, designers, jewelry makers, DJs, and bike couriers. There is a robust, if underground, community of artists in the area, and I think this is a nice start to creating a more public space for that community, as well as a space to bring together that community with the community that has lived there for decades.
