Pluta Wins Mayoral Election In Holyoke
HOLYOKE, Mass. — City Councilor Elaine Pluta will be the first woman mayor of Holyoke.
Unofficial returns from Tuesday’s voting in the western Massachusetts city showed Pluta defeating businessman Daniel Boyle.
Pluta will succeed Mayor Michael Sullivan, who chose not to run for a fifth term.
