I am getting daily robocalls from Coakley. Any possibility that I might consider voting for her - or even considering her stand on issues - are, naturally, gone. I know what her stand on robocalls is. That's enough for me.

Coakley has name recognition, but that could work against her given her record in office. It is not true that all publicity is good publicity.

Has anyone actually done a study to see if robocalls make a candidate win or lose voters?

I already got mail from Capuano, but it was asking for a donation not my vote. It was not addressed to resident. If he sent me that because my last name ends in a vowel, I am offended.
