Thanks for building this "Memorial" is what I'd call it, like the name of this same title of a Year 2000 "Star Trek: Voyager" episode over at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0708930/ that was on yesterday's SPIKE T.V. from 2-3:00 a.m. Daylight Saving Time in the East here. - - Joe, a friend of a Vietnam Vet who has PTSD and who I've put up at my place in the country when the city rat-race gets to him. Like one time in his apartment him feeling "cornered" and after a stop-over here took a "Distressed Rate" flight out of the Manchester, N.H. airport to visit his mother out west. Plus: while hiking one Fall, a Deer Hunter's bullet went by his head withIN inches. The penalty: a circle around out back to get and shatter that gun to pieces he told me.

A word of caution about "The Horrors of War Within Museum Walls". The museum should be very, very careful about casually inviting any and all veterans to (re)experience these horrors. Speaking as a decorated Vietnam combat veteran who is disabled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder based on my experiences in Vietnam, were I to find myself inside this "art gallery", I know the results would not be pretty, for me or for anyone else anywhere near me.

Please, please, PLEASE warn veterans before they enter that the experience is very realistic and can possibly trigger reactions and emotions that the veteran doesn't even know he is burdened with yet. Veterans of ANY war who suffer from PTSD are susceptible to "triggers" that can do serious harm to their often thin veneer of emotional stability.

I would come to the public talk tomorrow, but I still prefer to stay at home in my "bunker" where it's safe.

Thank you.
