Two doctors and one nurse practitioner examined me after I found the lump and said they may have missed it themselves. To say that "breast self-exams are of no value" is irresponsible and of absolutely no help to half the world's population! More women discover their own lumps than are detected by other means. A woman knows her own body better than anyone else (your doctor may examine you only once a year), so I believe this task force's recommendations are detrimental and dangerous to women.
