While endorsing his opponent, the Boston Globe's editorial today persuaded me to vote in the primary and take a look at Mr. Robinson. How do we deal with our nation's insecurity. In the early 1900s, when the Anarchists were threatening America and other countries, assassinating leaders. Teddy Roosevelt did an interesting thing. T.R. saw some worthy values that motivated Anarchists and how those values, like sharing the wealth, were abused in America by business trusts. He pointed this out to Americans, promoted anti-trust laws, and the Anarchists stopped attacking countries. For several years now, America has pursued the Taliban and tried to destroy its people. This has required demonizing the Taliban. Let's look at some of our excesses and set some limits; we might show the Taliban that we too understand right and wrong and a movement that resembles somewhat our Pilgrims.
I'd like Mr. Robinson to share with Massachuysetts Republicans a vision of a people that appreciates conservation and sees a way for Americans to live in harmony with the earth's resources and creatures.

Mr. Robinson's statement on abortion is as old as Roe v Wade in 1973: "Personally opposed but ..." Please, Sir, then would you define what being 'pro-life' is? What are your views on the developing new human life in utero? Should he or she not be protected by law? You simply can't have it both ways, and the answer not only lacks specifics but is just another shopworn boilerplate political response.

Dear Mr. Robinson:
Congratulations on your running for the Senate. I read with interest most of your website, after having received your postcard recently.
You have a wonderful background, but, when you express yourself as a progressive Republican, that scares me. The progressive label is too close to socialism for me! Woodrow Wilson was a progressive, and did much to contribute to some of the financial policies that gave us The Great Depression...Also at odds with some, is your support of any kind of government program for health care. Fix what we have, engage some of your 12 points, before messing around with the privacy of citizens!
I would like you to explain why you use the term progressive.
Sincerely,
Chris Williams
