With his military background and Harvard MBA, Steven Schrage should be in an excellent position to recommend areas of wasteful spending on national defense. The budget cannot be balanced only by pruning discretionary domestic spending. As a putative Maverick Republican, Scott Brown is just the man to hark back to President Eisenhower and work to reign in the military industrial complex.
