What a difference getting more fruits & veggies into children makes - shown by the Juice Plus+ Childrent's Health Study on more than 500,000 kids - they are eating more fresh fruits & veggies, drinking more water, eating/drinking less junk food, needing less than half the number of doctor visits and missing less than half the number of school days. Juice Plus+ is 17 fruits/veggies/grains that are juiced & dried into powder, available in capsule or chewable form. It is the most clinically researched nutritional product on the market, proving health benefits. THE CHS PROGRAM PROVIDES 3 YEARS OF JUICE PLUS+ FREE FOR CHILDREN AGE 4-18 OR TO AGE 26 IF IN COLLEGE . Check it out on www.barhopjuiceplus.com and contact me at barhop@comcast.net with questions.
Juice Plus+ funded the Nutrition Detectives program by Dr David Katz - teaching kids how to read lables and eat better, no mention of product. JUICE PLUS= CARES ABOUT KIDS NUTRITION!

Proper nutrition of children shouldn't be something that need congressional legislation to get right, though I believe this is a positive thing. Until we practice good nutrition in the home, kids will get their salts and sugars anyhow. The question should really be, why do we a nation of consumers keep buying these ridiculous unhealthy things (I dare not call it food) for our kids just because companies market it to them?

@Mark - yeah, why help poor children not get diabetes!? I have to wonder what kind of person would be against such legislation. People like you are truly baffling to me.
