Sen. Kerry went to the other side of the world to buy a yacht that he could have had built in the USA. I'm not knocking New Zealand - they are great boat builders but we have some tremendous boat builders here in the good old USA. In fact, some of the best in the WORLD are located right up in Maine. Boat building is down 50 per cent with the recession - you'd think a rich guy like the Senator could have spent his money in the US and kept a few of us employed.
