The Associated Press2 Dead, 1 Injured In Dedham Shooting

DEDHAM, Mass. — Authorities say a husband and wife have been killed and their adult daughter hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head in an apparent case of domestic violence in Dedham.

The victims were discovered in a home on Carmichael Circle at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday.

Norfolk District Attorney William Keating identified the victims as 53-year-old William Spada, 51-year-old Patricia Spada, and 26-year-old Deidre Spada. He says the daughter’s boyfriend, who also lives in the home, fled and called police when the shooting started. He told police William Spada shot his wife and daughter before turning the gun on himself. The boyfriend is cooperating and is not considered a suspect.

Keating says the deaths remain under investigation and there is no word yet on what sparked the shooting.
