Cambridge City Manager Is Highest Paid In Mass.

Cambridge City Manager Robert Healy is the highest paid municipal manager in the state.

Under a contract approved by the city council, Healy would receive a $5 million retirement package, which includes lifetime nursing home care for Healy and his wife, according to a report by the website Cambridge Day and the Initiative for Investigative Reporting at Northeastern University.

Healy said he is "worth every penny," noting that Cambridge residents have the lowest property tax rates in the state.
