Leaders of the Legislature's Redistricting Committee are defending the recently completed process in the wake of claims from Rep. Barney Frank that they unfairly changed his district due to influence from other incumbents.

Frank announced Monday he's retiring at the end of his term next year, citing in part a lack of willpower to campaign in a district that's too "new." Now, he says the protection of other incumbents helped push him out.

For response, we contacted one of the co-chairs of the redistricting committee, Rep. Mike Moran, who calls the process a fair one.

This program aired on November 30, 2011.
