Coyotes In Massachusetts

Following the release of a coyote in Belmont last week, we’d like to know where people are spotting coyotes in the Boston area.

We’re mapping coyote photos and sightings in Massachusetts. If you’ve seen a coyote recently let us know where you saw it — being as specific as possible — and if you have photos we’d love to see those too.

    Coyotes

We live in Dunstable Ma. At about 11am today my daughter and I watched a pack of 4 coyotes play in the corner of our back yard. I thought maybe they were pups from the same litter. No adults around. They took turns playing and chewing on a plastic shovel from the kids sand box. They were there a long time. Not too concerned about anything going on around them.
My daughter took pictures and video. Not great video but you can see thëm playing and having fun.
A little concernd about putting our 30 lb wheaton terrier out on her line by herself anymore. Guess we need to stand out there with her holding a bat!
