Obama Campaign Tries To Woo N.C. Voters In Charlotte
Organizers of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte are promising this week’s events will be open and accessible. The convention is also designed to give the Obama campaign a chance to win over the host state: North Carolina.
North Carolina is a swing state where neither the president nor Mitt Romney has a clear advantage yet. The week started with a street festival for the public, filled with games, food trucks and music. If the weather cooperates, it will close on Thursday night with a speech by President Obama in the huge Bank Of America Stadium.
