Home Sweet Homes At Christmas Fest

From cookie lighthouses to sugary ships to Candylands, the gingerbread house competition is one of the highlights of the Boston Christmas Festival, the annual showcase of holiday crafts and gifts at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston from Nov. 2 to 4.

The cookie houses are available for sale to benefit Housing Families of Malden, which provides housing to low-income and homeless folks.

This year's “best in show” prize, as judged by a handful of members of the media and their kids, went to Kristen Coniaris of Wicked Goodies of Cambridge.
