The first attack took place on Monday around 6:45 p.m., the second on Tuesday around 7:25 p.m. Both victims are in their teens and were attacked on or near Camden Street in lower Roxbury.

Both victims were able to escape the attacker without injury.

“It’s scary. My daughter is 13 and she goes to the school nearby, and there are times when I’m running late and just let her walk over by herself, but not anymore,” Eva Lopez, who lives on Camden Street, told The Boston Globe.

Police say in both cases the suspect commented on the physical appearance of the victims before or during the attack and they believe the same man may be responsible.

Anyone with information about the attacks of the suspect are asked to call detectives at (617) 343-4400 or by calling CrimeStoppers at (800) 494-TIPS or by texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).

This program aired on November 9, 2012. The audio for this program is not available.
