Woman Accosted In Attleboro, Sexually Assaulted

Police in Attleboro are on the hunt for the suspect in a sexual assault where the victim was forced to drive at knifepoint to an isolated manufacturing plant where she was sexually assaulted.

The 18-year-old victim was accosted in an alleyway near a parking garage on Tuesday afternoon before driving to the parking lot. She managed to escape her assailant and contacted a passer-by for help.

Police launched a massive search for the suspect involving dogs and air units, but came up empty.

The suspect was described as a clean-shaven white man in his early 20s. He was about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and was wearing a gray or black hooded sweat shirt.

The victim was checked out at the hospital.
