After an explosive day in federal court, jurors in the trial of Boston mobster James "Whitey" Bulger on Wednesday will hear from a forensic expert who identified the remains of some of Bulger's alleged murder victims.

The fireworks in court Tuesday came between Bulger and former protege Kevin Weeks, who was testifying on behalf of the prosecution. U.S. Marshals and security officers had to spring into the middle of the expletive-filled exchange.

WBUR's David Boeri was in the courtroom.

This program aired on July 10, 2013.
