Data And Healthier Communities: 4 Tips For Entering The 2013 Knight News Challenge

The Knight Foundation joined WBUR’s Commonhealth blog for an evening of discussion around this year’s Knight News Challenge on Thursday.

The event, led by Knight Foundation’s Chris Sopher, also allowed for prospective entrants to workshop their ideas for the 2013 challenge, which focuses on accelerating media innovation for the health of communities, specifically using data.

The Knight Foundation will grant the winner of the News Challenge up to $2 million to develop his or her idea. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, September 17.
