Larry DiCara — who served on Boston City Council from 1971 through 1981 and unsuccessfully ran for mayor in 1983 — has just released a memoir of his political experiences and observations called “Turmoil and Transition in Boston.” He joined WBUR’s Morning Edition to discuss his career and why he first decided to run for City Council in 1971.
