BOSTON — State authorities in Michigan and federal authorities here in Massachusetts are now working together on investigations of the deadly meningitis outbreak blamed on a compounding pharmacy in Framingham. Hundreds of people were sickened by steroids sold by the New England Compounding Center, and 64 people died.

Former Massachusetts U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan joined WBUR’s Morning Edition to talk about how simultaneous investigations could benefit both states.
