The U.S. women’s hockey team trained for the Olympics in Bedford, many of them staying with host families in Concord for nearly six months. Now, they face the three-time Olympic champion Canadian women in the gold medal game on Thursday.

John Boynton, who hosted athletes, and Ahlise Coyne, whose daughter Kendall attends Northeastern University and plays left wing for the U.S., both join WBUR’s Morning Edition ahead of the big match up.
