Scott Brown plans to formally announce his candidacy Thursday night for a U.S. Senate seat in New Hampshire after months of posturing and speculation.

Political director at WMUR-TV in New Hampshire James Pindell has been on the road with former Massachusetts U.S. Senator for the last few weeks as Brown has been exploring a bid.
