Tufts Professor: Boston Needs To Address ‘Economic Vulnerability’ Of Young Black, Latino Men

BOSTON — A new report says Boston needs to do a better job planning city services around its growing population of young black and Latino men.

The study, commissioned by the Black and Latino Collaborative, says Boston needs to plan around those young men with better schools, affordable housing and jobs.

Tufts professor James Jennings, who helped prepare the report, joined WBUR’s Morning Edition.

Really! So we need more and better programs aimed at Blacks and Latinos? So we need to take race and skin color into account? Isn’t that called discrimination and, after long efforts, we finally outlawed that? But now we need to ignore all that and take those into account? It must be Newspeak.
