Forecast: More Clouds, Showers Ahead

There are more clouds and showers coming in the next few days, but a better weekend of weather is on the way. Today is a very nice day compared to yesterday’s clouds and muggy conditions. There won’t be any thunderstorms like yesterday, either. Highs today with a wind off the water will range from the mid 60s right at the water to near 70s well inland and into interior New Hampshire.

The weather remains dry tomorrow, but there will be more in the way of cloudiness.  Highs tomorrow will continue in the same general range, though they may be a few degrees milder.

As a front approaches Friday a line of showers will approach the area. Some of these showers could be heavy, especially over western New England. The best chance for showers will be later Friday and overnight. There is a chance the Red Sox game Friday might be impacted by the rain.

As the showers move east Saturday skies will clear and we are looking at a very nice weekend. If early Saturday is still cloudy and there are any lingering showers they will quickly leave.  Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s. For Dad on Father’s Day we have a great day of weather.  Wall-to-wall sunshine will be the rule, and highs will near 80 inland and the 70s at the coast. Enjoy!

Wednesday: Partly sunny with a high in the upper 60s to lower 70s.

Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy and comfortable. Lows in the 50s.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy and seasonable. Some sunny periods with highs around 70.

Friday: Lots of clouds, some sun and a good chance of a period of showers and thunderstorms. Highs in the lower to middle 70s.

Saturday: A blend of clouds and sunshine. Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 75 to 80.
