Jurors at the corruption trial of former Massachusetts Probation Commissioner John O’Brien on Thursday heard messages left on a home answering machine 14 years ago that prosecutors claim are evidence of a job rigging scheme.

The government witness who got those messages and then saved them says he knew what they meant and what the commissioner wanted him to do.
