During a hearing Thursday in Salem Superior Court, Philip Chism's attorney sought additional evidence, including copies of text messages and emails she believes officers used to communicate with each other, as well as information about the time that crime scene photos of Colleen Ritzer's body were taken.

The Salem News reports that she says they could show a timeline at odds with official reports.

The 15-year-old Chism is facing rape and murder charges in connection with the October slaying.

The prosecutor said much of what the defense is requesting has already been turned over or doesn't exist.

The judge did not rule.
