Retired Milton High Guidance Counselor Faces Larceny Charges

A retired Milton High School guidance counselor has been charged with stealing about $30,000 in fees paid by students for advanced placement tests.

Prosecutors say 62-year-old Kenneth Aubert, who retired last year, was released on personal recognizance after pleading not guilty to multiple counts of larceny.

The alleged theft came to light this week when Superintendent. Mary Gormley told a school committee meeting.

Gormley said school officials notified police as soon as they became aware of incomplete records of payment for the advanced placement tests.

She said no students' scores were affected and every advanced placement test was administered.

Aubert could not be reached.
