Suspect In Fatal Cambridge Shooting Faces Arraignment
The suspect in the fatal shooting of a man in Cambridge earlier this month is scheduled to be arraigned.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan says 26-year-old Rooslin Altidor, of Medford, is expected to be arraigned Monday in Cambridge District Court in connection with the death of 31-year-old Rasaun Nichols on the evening of Aug. 12.
Nichols was struck by gunshots while in a vehicle that was driven toward Kendall Square, where it later stopped. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
It's not clear if Altidor has a lawyer.
Nichols's shooting was the first of five fatal shootings in the Boston area in a period of a little more than four hours.
