2 Women Injured In Overnight Shooting Near Fenway Park

Boston police say two women have been injured in an overnight shooting outside Fenway Park.

Police said the victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident happened at about 2 a.m. Sunday near Brookline Avenue and Yawkey Way, in front of the Boston Beer Works bar.

Boston Beer Works acting general manager Dan Quintino said one of the bullets shattered the bar's front window. He said that a closing manager was the only person at work at the time of the shooting but was not injured. The bar opened for its usual Sunday hours.

The shooting happened several hours after the end of the Boston Red Sox 4:05 p.m. Saturday home game against the Philadelphia Phillies.

No arrests have been made in the shooting, which is still being investigated.
