Plans laid out Thursday by Gov. Baker to fight the growing opioid crisis in this state are facing some stiff opposition from medical groups.

The Massachusetts Medical Society, Dental Society and Hospital Association are all objecting to the governor's proposal to limit doctors to prescribe only a three-day supply of opiates to new patients.

This segment aired on October 16, 2015.
