Over the next week, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will have plenty of opportunities to work the New Hampshire crowds.

Clinton won by the slimmest of margins in Iowa, and Sanders maintains a big lead in New Hampshire.

Andy Smith, a political scientist at the University of New Hampshire and director of the UNH Survey Center, joined Morning Edition to discuss what he sees as the big question in their race: How much of the gap can Clinton close against clear front-runner Sanders?

This segment aired on February 3, 2016.
