Three 19-year-old college students from Massachusetts are safe after witnessing the terrorist attacks at the airport in Brussels, Belgium, Tuesday morning.

The three attend Quinnipiac University in Connecticut and are taking part in a study abroad program in Ireland. They were in Belgium as part of their spring break trip and were about to board a plane to London.

Cate Duffy of Natick, Lauren Cleary of Abington, and Monica Hall of Sutton, joined WBUR’s All Things Considered to describe what they saw.
