Sarah Nethercote joined the Development team in April 2012 and works closely with the station’s Board of Overseers and Executive Advisory Council members.
Sarah brings more than 12 years of experience in fundraising and community engagement, including work for the US Fund for UNICEF. There she created a Women’s Speaker Series in Connecticut, bringing the mission of UNICEF to friends and donors across the region, and focused on a campaign to assist children and families in Bolivia. Sarah also worked at Boston College as a Leadership Gift Officer, helped fundraise for the college’s $1.5 billion capital campaign and managed the Parents’ Weekend program. Her work on New York University’s capital campaign earned her a Community Engagement award from NYU, where she also earned a graduate certificate in fundraising.
A graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and political science, Sarah also holds a master’s degree in education from Boston College. She lives in Milton with her family.
