State health officials in New Hampshire say they have identified 12 people with Legionnaire's disease.

Authorities say two spas at hotels in Hampton are the likely source of Legionella bacteria that causes the disease, although the investigation remains ongoing.

New Hampshire's state epidemiologist Dr. Benjamin Chan joined WBUR's Jack Lepiarz to discuss the outbreak.

This segment aired on August 30, 2018.
