NPR's 'Ask Me Another' Comes To Boston

Ask Me Another-NEW_600x200

Ask Me Another, NPR’s exciting new program blending brainteasers and local pub trivia night with comedy and music, comes to Boston for the first time for a live show on Monday, April 1, 7 p.m., at the Wilbur Theatre.

Hosted by comedian Ophira Eisenberg, beloved touring host and storyteller for The Moth, Ask Me Another invites in-studio guests and listeners alike to stretch their noggins, tickle their funny bones and enjoy witty banter and guitar riffs from house musician Jonathan Coulton.

Joining Ophira on the Boston stage are special guests, former Congressman Barney Frank, author of The Giver Lois Lowry, and former Boston Globe film critic (and current writer for Grantland) Wesley Morris.

The Boston performance will be recorded live and you can be part of the national broadcast!

To be a part of the audience, make a pledge of $60 for a pair of tickets.

And don’t forget to tune in Ask Me Another Saturday nights at 6 p.m. on WBUR!

Am I missing something, or is there not a way to order just 1 ticket for $25 as the description states? I only see the $50 option for two tickets…

Wow, “Ask Me Another”, one of the worst shows ever created by public radio, is coming to Boston.

I thought I was the only one who hated it.

Haven’t really caught this show. Why is it so bad?

To order a single ticket, please contact me directly — my email is listed on the “Meet the Staff” page on this site. As for the show, remember that not everyone loved “Car Talk” when it started, either! We hope you’ll check out “Ask Me Another” and let us know what you think.

I bought the tickets and I want to give them to my daughter to attend the show. Can she pick them up at the Theater or do I need to be there too? Thanks. Melanie Wallace
