Robin, I am so very, very, sorry that this lovely event you have planned in Wayland is marred by the tragedy today. We all in the community value your voice on our local issues and events and would like to celebrate your journey. I’m sure this milemarker is very difficult for you like all of us.

Looking forward to being there to see and hear my all-time favorite local journalist.

Robin your colleagues at WBUR dropped the ball today with their irresponsible reporting on the capture of a suspect in the Marathon Bombing. Deb Becker and others all quoting their “sources” which were all wrong. I thought that I could expect more from the WBUR news team. Unfortunately, you guys are like all the rest of the news media-putting a story out there before it is a story. Even NBC knew better.

I respect and appreciate the incredible job that you do every day on Here And Now – maybe your colleagues at WBUR should pay a little bit closer attention to your professional level of reporting.

Robin talked about that issue in her talk, which will be posted in a few days on WayCAM TV.

What a fabulous evening. Robin had us spellbound for an hour and a half, telling poignant stories from her career, non-stop, without notes. The video will be up on WayCAM TV in a few days.
