Shakespeare’s ‘Two Gentlemen Of Verona’ On Boston Common

andrea_shea_square-130x130Talk about star-crossed! We sadly have to cancel this once more. Commonwealth Shakespeare says skies may clear by 8 p.m. – too late for the talk, but perhaps not for the show. Check CSC’s Facebook page for updates.

This summer, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company presents the 18th season of its free “Shakespeare on the Common” series with the classic comedy, Two Gentlemen of Verona, July 6-28, at the Parkman Bandstand on the Boston Common.

WBUR arts reporter Andrea Shea will host a pre-show discussion on Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m., onstage right before the show. She’ll be joined by director Steven Maler, music director Colin Thurmond, choreographer Yo-el Cassell and actor Rick Park, who plays the Duke of Milan with a Vegas twist. For more information about the play and this Rat Pack-themed production, visit CSC’s website here.
