Meghna Chakrabarti Moderates A Talk On The Future Of Water

Meghna ChakrabartiWBUR and The Nature Conservancy invite you to join us for a community discussion on The Future of Water on Monday, June 10, 6:30-9 p.m. at the Virginia Wimberly Theatre, Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.

Meghna Chakrabarti, co-host of WBUR’s Radio Boston, moderates the conversation featuring speakers Sandra Postel, director, The Global Water Policy Project, Steven Solomon, author of “Water: The Epic Struggle for Wealth, Power and Civilization,” and Brian Richter, director of Global Freshwater Strategies, The Nature Conservancy.

Tickets are $40 for the remainder of the series on May 13 and June 10. A series pass includes admission to the pre-event reception featuring refreshments, good conversation and activities that will bring you closer to the work to save nature.

The Future of Water is part of The Future of Nature, a three-part speaker series taking place in April, May and June. The series is designed with the intention of sparking a community discussion about how everyone can play a part in finding solutions to the challenges of how to meet global food, energy and water needs in the coming decades.
