Founded in 1889, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a dynamic, fast-growing international revival movement within Islam. Archaeological Institute of America A nonprofit organization, the AIA also seeks to educate people of all ages about the significance of archaeological discovery and is committed to preserving the world’s archaeological resources and cultural heritage. The 6th Annual Archaeological Institute of America-Museum of Science Archaeology Fair will be held October 19th and 20th at the Museum of Science.

Boston Volunteers
Boston Volunteers is a not-for-profit organization that has been around for three years. Their goal is to help the local community by making volunteering accessible for working individuals. They organize a variety of volunteering opportunities (from serving at soup kitchens to tutoring those who are studying for their GEDs) and collaborate with other not-for-profit organizations. People are welcome to sign up for as few or as many events as they would like in the event calendar; there are no long-term commitments.

The Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies is Harvard University’s center for interdisciplinary research and study of Russia and its neighbors. MIT Women’s Chorale
The MIT Women’s Chorale is a concert choir sponsored by the MIT Women’s League, and is open to all women of the MIT and Harvard communities and a small number of guests at the discretion of the director. We are enriched by the diversity of our membership, which includes women of a wide age range and women from the international communities at MIT and Harvard. While our primary focus is singing, we end each evening with conversation over light refreshments. We also hold a pot luck supper each semester. The interactions fostered by the Chorale have led to many life-long friendships.
N.E.A.D.S. NEADS/Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans is a nonprofit organization that trains highly skilled assistance dogs for people who are Deaf or have a disability. NEADS has matched more than 1,400 dogs with human partners all around the United States since 1976. Our Canines for Combat Veterans program caters to US veterans, particularly wounded service men and women who have returned from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. We also train social dogs for children with Autism, hearing dogs for people who are Deaf, and service dogs for people with a disability.
North Shore Women’s Rugby
The North Shore Women’s Rugby Club (NSWRC), located north of Boston, was created in the Fall of 2004 and is in Division III of the New England Rugby Football Union.
